Tour info –
We depart from central station and follow the pacific highway north through Kurrin Gai Chase National Park. Arriving at Brooklyn we board a Hawkesbury River cruise.
Morning tea and lunch is served while the scenic inlets and islands of the Hawkesbury pass by. We then continue up the F3 to Strickland state forest where we will take a short escorted bushwalk. Moving north again we drive to our luxury beachside accommodation at Nelson Bay.
Evening activities are provided at a local club.
The next day we offer an early morning beach walk before a hearty breakfast. Then we board a whale watching boat to try and spot some whales* and dolphins. Depending on time of year you may be able to snorkel and swim with the dolphins.
After aquatic animal spotting we make the short journey back up the highway to Fern Bay in the Hunter Wetlands National Park and enjoy a BBQ lunch.
The Australian Reptile Park is our last stop on our itinerary. The park has a wide variety of native mammals, spiders, snakes and larger reptiles. If we time it right we should see the alligator feeding show. A walk through the kangaroo enclosure will allow a close up interaction with our national icon.
We will arrive back in Sydney Central station around 6.30 pm.
